The Edgewater Series
“SARAH IMMERSED HERSELF in the memories of the endless starlit skies of her own summers spent at Edgewater and the sweet scent of new growth exploding from the rich earth. And the house - it possessed such a feeling of anticipation and hope.”
"NESTLED BETWEEN DOWNTOWN and the far western border of Cleveland, Edgewater Park was viewed as an idyllic destination by the numerous visitors that flooded its shores every summer. But to those who lived in the Edgewater community, it was home; a symbol of beauty and rich with history."
"ALONG THE LAKEFRONT, just west of Edgewater Park, sat a stretch of vacant land. Inhabited only by trees overgrown with wild roses, it astounded him. As it passed them by, he was further drawn in by a massive old oak at the northeastern edge of the tract. Swaying in the summer breeze off the lake, it towered above the rest of the trees, as if it was personally motioning for John to set foot on the property."
